The Moore family has been lifelong admirers of horses and other animals, and did more
than its share of horse back riding at Riding Academies in the Cleveland, Ohio area, leading
up to a 1959 visit to a southern Ohio Arabian horse farm where a dear friend, Helen Spillman,
had just returned from her honeymoon after marrying this fellow, Dick Lodwick, who was an
Arabian horse breeder.
That visit was all it took for the Moores to determine that Arabian
horses were to become an integral part of their lives.

Originally planned to be just a hobby farm with horses to ride and enjoy, Fairfield Farm has
evolved into primarily a nursery for quality Arabian horse foals and young stock for competition
in the horse shows, as endurance riding mounts and in the sport horses disciplines. Fairfield
Farm enjoys exhibiting and using their horses in these venues. Inquiries and visits are always welcome.
Prior notification of your visit is appreciated, as we would not want to miss you.
